Geological & Historical Virtual Models, LLC (GHVM) has developed software and hardware to support the acquisition, assembly, and analysis of large scale, high optical resolution geological outcrop models. We provide pioneering outcrop model acquisition and construction services, and we offer analytical software that allows the geologist to characterize the model in the lab.
Kilometer scale outcrop models at millimeter optical resolution can be acquired and assembled using a robotic camera system developed by GHVM. These large scale outcrop models can then be analyzed in an ArcGIS environment using analytical software developed by GHVM.
Our services can also be applied to historical and manmade sites.
